In Finnish characters ö and ä are used very often. Simply removing them from file names makes reading them very difficult. I can imagine that this is the case for many other foreign languages as well.
My solution: Convert them to their a-Z counterparts (No dots, etc.). I implemented this based on the Wikipedia article for "List of precomposed Latin characters in Unicode" as Kotlin does not have this functionality out of the box.
I would argue that this change makes reading many foreign song names immensly easier, as just missing dots, for example, is way better than missing the letter at all.
