Check out Held and Hein's Kitten in a Basket - 1963. I'll let you explore if you are curious (that's the first test) and then quote from Beau Lotto's fascinating book "Deviate" (p.72 f you're as impatient as me). In short, one kitten ended up a lot brighter than the other (in the immediate term), you know, the sort of kitty you'd want in your VUCA world organisation.
