Use case

Populating an investigation with knowledge only within a specified time period. Lets say you are investigating Intrusion Sets and Malware targeting a sector last month.

Current Workaround

Set a range with Display time range selector and manually select all nodes that are grayed out.

Proposed Solution

Either add a date filter when Expanding a node, or being able to select nodes within (=Highlighted by) Display time range selector, or both.

Intuitively "Select all nodes" when Display time range selector is "used", should only select nodes Highlighted by the Display time range selector.

One should also consider a feature/button of "invert selection".
